First COD community tournament (mwm)

Welcome everybody to this awesome new site (and thanks M, g4, monsta, bakin and everyone else who helped with it). To commemorate the opening, we're going to have a super-awesome tournament.

Set-up: 3-5 rounds (depending on how many players) of 1on1's. It will be single elimination from the main tournament; however, if you lose your first round match in the main tournament, you will go into a separate consolation tournament. This way, everyone will be able to play 2 matches. Draws will be done randomly.

Rules: Each player picks a map. Tie-breakers will be determined by each player eliminating one of the three designated tiebreaker maps: crossroads, killhouse, prison. Whichever map is not eliminated is the tiebreaker. The score limit will be 10 points; the time, 10 minutes. And obviously no hacking, glitching, ect.

Awesome idea Lou. I can make the brackets. The bracket maker I use can do a double bracket, like the one we did a while ago, that way everyone plays at least two matches. It's a lot less complex then having the losers go into a separate tournament, and I can do it in a pinch.

Wait, I re-read it and now I understand. What's going to keep people from losing the first match to win the other tourny though?

It's much more of an honor to win the main one. Who wants to be "winner of the losers of a ds game?" xP
