All you pirates should go jump off a bridge. If you can't gather 30 bucks in 4 months to buy a little DS game, then there's something really wrong. If you don't have a source of income, maybe save up the 2 bucks your parents give you for lunch money for a few weeks.

If you still aren't able to get 30 bucks, then just remember that videogames aren't a necessity; they're a luxury. You don't need it. No reason to steal it. You could try picking up a new hobby that's not as expensive, like trolling gamefaqs.

Nah, DS games only go for 30 bucks +tax new except for Square Enix games. Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver was 40 bucks because of the Pokewalker that came with it.

Nah 35 + tax. Mobilized was 35 + tax for me at gamestop.

All great arguiments about the piracy, but why isn't Nintendo doing something about it then? The R4 is as old as the road to Rome, and was already being sold a few months after the release of the DS. Though, Nintendo tried holding them back with DSi-updates, a bit late to my thought, which didn't last for long.

What I try to say is that people are different. Chewy, for example, is really anti-piracy. Somebody like me is pro-piracy. People hacked things when the first technology rised, but I know it's a bit wrong to say it in this way like I think it's good to pirate. My reasons to pirate 'DS-games' (I actually don't pirate anything else except of music) are:
- Lack of money on my side (school is hard and long, almost no time for a job, parents who let me pay for everything luxury I want). I don't even have my own TV or PC on my room (although I don't really care), I only got this DS.
- Lack of quality on the developers side (not all games tbh).
- Lack of making the price go even with gameplay/quality of the game.
If Nintendo just puts some money into anti-piracy, instead of their own pockets....

I have to say: Nintendo is finally waking up. They are closing down ROM-sites (although not the big ones, just small ones I don't even heard off), and it's rumoured the 3DS will have a way more improved anti-piracy feature.

Lack of money shouldn't be a reason to pirate. Like I said in one of my previous posts, videogames are a luxury, not a necessity.

These two points I definitely agree with. But they also shouldn't be a reason to pirate. If people aren't buying their crappy games, then they will lower their prices. Unless the games are from Nintendo or Squaresoft.

And Nintendo is swimming in cash, so they probably don't care too much about piracy.

I bought GTA Vice City and Rockstar is swimming in cash. Not to mention it's nearly impossible to buy GTA San Andreas new at a retail store.
